Tell Governor Hochul to Sign the Data Center Moratorium Act Into Law!

 

The Data Center Moratorium Act passed the legislature at the end of session in June. It will put a one year pause on large new data center development while the state studies impacts on our climate, our energy system, our utility bills, and our communities. The governor did sign an executive order for a moratorium but it is far weaker than the bill. She has until December 30th to sign the stronger bill into law.
